About Us

A long hallway, calm and quite.

Liminal Strategy Co. began the way most necessary things do.
Not as a business idea, but as a response.

We are two women who have lived divorce from very different angles, one largely amicable, one high-conflict, both involving real assets, real custody decisions, and real long-term consequences. Between us, we’ve navigated cooperative negotiations, adversarial dynamics, complex finances, and the quiet psychological toll that sits underneath all of it.

What surprised us wasn’t the divorce itself.
It was the absence of support before things went sideways.

When we were in the middle, before attorneys were fully engaged, before positions hardened, before money started leaking out through reactivity and fear, there was nowhere to go that was both strategic and grounded.

What we needed was space to think clearly.
To prepare.
To get organized.
To slow down without freezing.

That space didn’t exist.

So we built it.

Why the Middle Matters

The firm was founded by two women whose complementary backgrounds bridge emotional insight and practical strategy. Kelly is a certified divorce coach and former stay-at-home mother, bringing firsthand understanding of the identity, financial, and caregiving shifts that accompany separation, along with professional experience supporting individuals through the emotional and logistical realities of divorce. Elisa is a certified parenting coach, entrepreneur, and licensed real estate agent, contributing expertise in family systems, organization, and asset-related decision-making during life transitions.

I was married for nearly 30 years and built my life around family. When my marriage ended, I had to learn asset division and alimony negotiations the hard way. I became a certified divorce coach because I didn’t want other women to navigate that fog alone. My role is to help you slow things down, understand what’s happening, and make clear decisions before pressure pushes you into choices you’ll regret.

I spent years in corporate leadership and entrepreneurship, building and selling companies and co-building a multi-million-dollar business. My divorce was high conflict and involved both asset division and child custody while raising two kids. I know how fast overwhelm can steal clarity. I’m here to help you think strategically, protect what matters, and find strength and peace in the middle of this process.
